Board & Train in a veteran trainer’s home.
Give your dog consistent practice in a real household. ONL Wichita’s Board & Train combines daily obedience, everyday manners, and owner coaching for families across the Wichita region.
What your dog works on.
The training plan is built around your dog’s starting point and your goals. Daily work can include leash walking, recall, place, household boundaries, polite greetings, impulse control, and settling. Skills are practiced around everyday distractions as your dog progresses, so the work connects to walks, visitors, and life at home.
Home-based training with an owner handoff.
Your dog stays in a selected veteran trainer’s home, with care and training backed by ONL Wichita. Regular communication keeps you connected to the program. Owner instruction at the handoff helps you understand the cues, routines, and follow-through your dog needs when returning home. Ask the team about the current program length, placement availability, and transition arrangements.
Program price and choosing the right fit.
Board & Train is $3,000 cash. Before booking, tell us your dog’s age, training history, behavior concerns, and what you want to change. The team confirms suitability and placement. If you want to work alongside your trainer throughout the process, private lessons may fit better. If you need overnight care while you travel, regular cabin boarding is a separate service in Augusta at $75 per day.
Your questions, answered.
Is Board & Train the same as dog boarding?
No. Board & Train is a dedicated training program in a veteran trainer’s home. Regular dog boarding is a cabin stay in Augusta for daily care while you are away.
Do you offer dog boot camp?
People sometimes use dog boot camp or residential dog training to describe Board & Train. Our program is home-based and includes owner instruction so you can continue the work.
Will I learn how to maintain the training?
Yes. Owner handoff and guidance are part of the program. Your consistency and practice remain important after your dog comes home.
Can families outside Wichita enroll?
Regional placements are considered within roughly 100 miles, depending on the dog, program, trainer availability, and schedule. Call with your location to confirm.
